Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Capurganá and Pool of the Gods

Day 2: Journey to La Miel (Panama) and Sapzurro

Day 3: Soledad Beach, El Aguacate Bay, and Blowhole (Hoyo Soplador)

Day 4: El Cielo Natural Reserve and Free Afternoon

Activities: Arrival in Capurganá and check-in at Tacarcuna Lodge with a welcome drink. Traditional lunch with the typical flavor of the Chocó coast. In the afternoon, a walk through the colorful streets of the town to learn about local culture and daily life, ending at the Pool of the Gods (Piscina de los Dioses), a natural rock formation with crystal-clear waters ideal for contemplating the landscape. At nightfall, enjoy dinner at the hotel to conclude your first day.

Activities: Morning starts with breakfast at the hotel. At 9:00 a.m., we will board a speedboat for a 20-minute ride across the Caribbean to reach La Miel in Panamanian territory, famous for its white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters ideal for relaxation. After enjoying the beach and lunch, we will embark on an approximately one-hour hike crossing the border back toward Sapzurro, a tranquil bay framed by the jungle. In the late afternoon, we will return by boat to Capurganá for dinner and rest.

Activities: After breakfast, we will depart at 9:00 a.m. on a 40-minute boat ride to Playa Soledad, a pristine cove with calm waters perfect for swimming and relaxing. At noon, we will transfer to Bahía El Aguacate to taste a coastal lunch. From there, we will take a short 15-minute hike to the Hoyo Soplador to witness the crashing of waves against the reefs. Return to Capurganá at sunset, closing the evening with dinner at the hotel.

Activities: Exclusive for the 5-day program. After breakfast, we will depart at 9:00 a.m. on a one-hour guided ecological hike into the Darien jungle toward the El Cielo Natural Reserve, moving among natural trails and giant trees. Along the route, it is possible to spot howler monkeys, titis, butterflies, and various native birds. At noon, we will return to the hotel for lunch. The afternoon is free to rest on the beach, explore local commerce, or relax at the facilities. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.

Day 5: Farewell to Capurganá

Activities: Start the day with breakfast before check-out. Afterward, we will provide accompaniment to the pier or airstrip to begin your return journey. Itinerary subject to change due to weather or operational conditions.
